I was introduced to postmodernism in college and I fell head over heels, though at first I couldn’t tell if it was because of the subject or who taught it (a literal GQ model professor — so hot). Once I untangled my textual from my sexual, I realized that yes, I loved them both. He taught it through Jazz, The Crying of Lot 49, and The Things They Carried, and I tend to teach it through poetry:
